Terms of use
Last updated: 6 October 2026
These terms apply when you use the Polamaa apps or website. Polamaa is run by . By creating an account you agree to them, and to our privacy policy.
The service
Polamaa connects customers with verified riders for parcel deliveries and, where the law allows it, bike taxi rides. Passenger rides are offered only in areas and from dates permitted under Tamil Nadu's rules.
Your account
- You must be 18 or older. Riders must hold a valid driving licence and vehicle papers and pass Polamaa's verification.
- Your account is for you alone, on one device. Keep your phone secure. Tell us at once if you think someone else has used your account.
Fares and payment
- The fare shown before you book is the fare you pay. It includes any rain or busy-time charge, which is always shown before you book. There is no extra charge at the drop.
- Pay the rider by UPI or cash as the app shows. Do not pay outside the app's fare, and report any rider who asks you to.
Cancellations
You can cancel with a reason. Repeated cancellations after a rider is on the way may pause new bookings for a short time. Riders who often decline offers or cancel accepted jobs get fewer offers.
Parcels
- Do not send anything illegal, dangerous or prohibited. Parcels must fit the bag size shown in the app.
- Secure Parcel covers listed items up to the declared value limit shown when you book.
- The recipient's hand-over code confirms delivery. Share it only with the recipient.
Safety and conduct
- The SOS button alerts Polamaa's local hub and control room. It does not replace emergency services: in danger, also call 112.
- Treat each other with respect. Harassment, abuse, unsafe riding and fraud lead to suspension.
- You can rate and block the other person after a trip.
Suspension and appeals
If we suspend an account we tell you why. You can appeal in the app, and a person reviews every appeal within 48 hours.
